Increases of 55 bhp and 20 Nm over our previous model are enhanced by torque increases across the rev range. The result is explosive acceleration, incredible potency and boundless intensity.

Sportshift III, a seven-speed AMT transaxle gearbox was specifically designed to tap the potency of V12 Vantage S. 2017 sees the return of a manual-shift transmission as an option, creating the ultimate analogue experience in a digital world. Seamless gear changes at high engine speeds. Advanced light-touch paddleshifts giving maximum driver control, while the new manual transmission provides maximum engagement between driver, vehicle and road. A transmission derived from the Vantage GT programme brings motorsport engineering and race-car capability to the road.

Three-stage adaptive damping (encompassing Normal, Sport and Track modes) enables abroad bandwidth of dynamic character. With hundreds of readings per second each damper instantly reacts and adjusts to road conditions, vehicle performance and driver control to deliver required levels of ride firmness and handling sharpness.

Combined with advanced traction and stability controls, recalibrated for the increased power of the AM28 engine, we’ve delivered outstanding levels of agility, response and intensity.




Precision Stopping
Power

V12 Vantage S uses our most advanced carbon ceramic matrix braking system, deliver class-leading brake feel and performance. Cross drilled to reduce weight, noise and judder, the large cross-section brake discs dissipate heat to prolong performance and reduce brake fade.

Further enhancement comes with an anti-lock braking system that offers a unique track-mode, specifically designed to give the driver a higher level of brake control before digital intervention.

The Vantage is not only synonymous with our iconic range of sports cars, it’s also synonymous with success on the toughest circuits in the world. Race proven technology sits at the heart of the Vantage road going range with only minimal specification changes adapting a production car for use in our GT racing programme.

With race winning performances for both V12 and V8 variations of the Vantage range, including the 2014 24hrs of Le Mans, we utilise the same knowledge built up on the track to develop Vantage for the road.
