On Track Overview

November 2012 once again saw a group of Aston Martin owners and invited guests take to the track in the latest 'Aston Martin On Track' event. The two events were held at Phillip Island Circuit, Australia and Taupo Motorsport Park, New Zealand’s premier driver training and motorsport facility. .

Attendees took the opportunity to hone and improve their skills on this perfectly designed race-track in a packed 8hrs of training and driving with qualified instructors.

Phillip Island

This venue features a 2.8 mile (4.4km) track with 12 turns, many of which are fast and flowing and along with gradient changes; it offers a driver the ultimate challenge.

Overlooking the Bass Strait, it is also one of the most scenic race tracks in the world. It hosts numerous championship races including MotoGP and V8 Supercars.

Taupo

Taupo Motorsport Park is New Zealand’s premier driver training and motorsport facility, and the track features a 2.17 mile (3.5km) track with 14 turns which makes it both technical and demanding.

As part of our On Track event, an Independent Prestige hosted a BBQ the night before at Huka Lodge – an event enjoyed by all, giving guests a chance to meet and discuss the exciting day ahead.
