The 15th January marks the official incorporation of the company by our founders Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford in 1913. To mark the exact day 100 years later a commemorative plaque reveal will be held in Henniker Mews in London (the original home address of Aston Martin) and will be followed by the Walter Hayes Memorial Lecture in the Park Lane Hilton Hotel, London.

This by-invitation-only event will see the actor Sir John Standing playing the role of Lionel Martin, telling the story of his early days and his experience of making the first Aston Martin in Lionel Martin’s own words.

Aston Martin Racing invites you to be part of Aston Martin’s centenary celebrations at the 2013, 24 Hours of Le Mans. Beginning with a drinks reception on Friday evening, you and a guest will meet the drivers and other key race team members before visiting the race paddock to see the engineers complete final preparations on our cars prior to the race. On Saturday morning, a truly once in a lifetime opportunity, as you will be one of only 100 Aston Martin owners to complete a parade lap of the iconic La Sarthe circuit in front of 250,000 expectant race fans. 100 cars representing 100 years of exceptional beauty and engineering excellence. Following the completion of the centenary parade lap, you and your guest are invited to join fellow members of the Aston Martin Racing family in our hospitality suite for the remainder of the weekend.

Hundreds of cars will start the fearsome 24-hour race, which runs on the daunting 25km circuit that combines the legendary Nordschleife with the modern Grand Prix track. Having focused our efforts in previous years on near production-specification cars since our 2006 Nürburgring 24 Hour debut, in our centenary year we will once more compete in the famous race with a spectacular line up of cars.

Our presence will be underpinned by a number of impressive pre-race demonstration cars, amongst them some of the most iconic cars in its history.

The 2013 Nurburgring 24 Hours Race promises to be a highlight in our centenary year for customers, media, friends and fans of the brand alike!

The famous Bonhams Aston Martin sale has always garnered attention of auto enthusiasts and collectors alike. In our centenary year, the world’s largest antique collectible auctioneer will be once more selling a huge set of Aston Martins motorcars and parts in the auction, to be held at Aston Martin Works Service in Newport Pagnell, Bucks on May 18, 2013.

Building on the record-breaking successes of recent events, next summer’s Silverstone Classic will feature unrivalled racing grids featuring the full spectrum of classic motor sport, an exceptional line up of classic car displays and parades, an amazing array of interactive family entertainment plus outstanding live music from renowned classic rock bands in the evenings. Although more details will be confirmed shortly, the comprehensive collection of races will include Group C prototypes, six decades of F1 cars plus a mouth-watering line-up of 50-plus car grids for GTs, sportscars, single-seater formulae and touring cars.

As the official Silverstone Classic celebrated marque, Aston Martin will play a major role in this year's event in honour of our 100 year history. Both Aston Martin and the Aston Martin Owners Club will have extensive car displays representing the company’s eras of development from 1913 through to the present day. A 100 car parade lap of the British Grand Prix circuit on Saturday will be a major highlight of the weekend.

The highlight of the centenary celebrations, this unique event marks a joint celebration with the Aston Martin Owners Club, the Aston Martin Heritage Trust, Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. and of course our customers, our dealers and the many friends of our marque. The event will take place in Kensington Gardens, with the kind permission of The Royal Parks and see car displays and the largest gathering of Aston Martins in the history of the company! Various “packages” will be available for participants and guests. These will be communicated and available to book in the coming weeks.

A birthday party in Aston Martin style, our celebratory event will take place prior to the Centenary display event on Sunday. We look forward to hosting a centenary party for our owners, VIP guests, Media and brand enthusiasts alike. Brands Hatch, one of the best known race circuits in the UK, will host the Aston Martin Owners Club Centenary race meeting on the weekend on 6 and 7 July which will celebrate the heritage of an iconic British marque. In addition to racing, there will be demonstration laps of Aston Martin race cars covering all eras and members will have an opportunity to join a parade lap on track.

The first day will be run on the Indy circuit and host 2 Centenary races:

Race 1: Open to all road going Aston Martins up to 1965 and racing Astons from pre war Ulsters, DB2, DB3/S, DBR1 to the project cars of the early 60's. The race will last for 30 minutes.

Race 2: The Aston Martin GT4 challenge will race on both days. AM Vantage GT3 cars will join GT4's for Sunday's race on the GP circuit, along with lightweight DB4s and V8s to fomr the second of the Centenary races.

In addition there will be a 'Pre-War Team Challenge'. This special event is open to teams of cars built between 1 January 1919 and 31 December 1941 and will see teams of Aston Martins pitched against Bentleys and Lagondas from the period.

Conceived for both owners and enthusiasts of the brand to get involved as never before, we will have a week of activities at our Gaydon headquarters, including factory based events and tours in and around our Warwickshire home, Design Master Classes, “Dine on the Line” experiences and an exhibition portraying each of the 10 decades of the company.

The week will culminate with a spectacular Aston Martin Birthday Party and a Centenary display in central London on Saturday and Sunday July 20/21.
