Performance Driving Courses



The Aston Martin Performance Driving Course focuses on two things – helping you understand the capability of your car in a controlled environment and to make you a safer, better driver, but above all it is about having fun whilst doing it!

Not only will the day be memorable, it will also help to equip you with the skill sets to use and indeed improve the driving and enjoyment of your Aston Martin.


The Performance Driving Course takes place at Millbrook Proving Ground, UK. The proving ground provides the perfect location for our drivers to learn and develop their driving skills in a challenging yet safe environment.

During the day, the blend of theory and hands-on practice will allow you to drive in a number of different environments, where you will experience safe high speed driving, car dynamics on handling and hill routes, and straight line power delivery and braking on the straights.


All of our courses are designed to be one-to-one in nature. Our highly experienced, professional instructors have extensive knowledge of track and road driving and will be with you throughout the duration of the day.

The course starts at 9.30 at Aston Martin, Newport Pagnell, where you will meet your instructor for the day. From here your instructor will drive you over to Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedford, a short 20 minute drive. The day will finish at approximately 16.00.

FAQs


DO I USE MY OWN CAR ON THE PDC?

No, Aston Martin provide the relevant car (Vanquish Touchtronic Coupe, V12 Vantage Coupe, or DB( Touchtronic Coupe) - other options are available on request) prepared especially for the event. Please be aware these cars will be right hand drive only.

HOW MUCH DOES THE PERFORMANCE DRIVING COURSE COST?

The cost of the course is £1,164.00 including VAT.

HOW OFTEN DO THE COURSES TAKE PLACE?

PDCs take place on reserved days from March - November 2013. Please email your preferred date(s) and car type (inc. transmission) and we will try and accommodate.

WHAT TO WEAR?

We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear for driving, preferably shoes with wide or thick soles.

When making your booking please inform the hotel you are a customer of Aston Martin as preferential rates have been arranged.

CAN I BRING A GUEST?

We do not recommend that you bring a guest as there is very little to see or do once the driver is out on the track. However, if your guest wants to participate on a course we can accommodate another instructor and car. For nonparticipating guests, please note that an additional charge of £50 will be incurred to cover hospitality costs.

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS

You would need to be over the age of 18 (to gain access to the Proving Ground) and have a full and valid driver’s licence.
