Aston Martin GT4 Challenge
The Aston Martin GT4 Challenge of Great Britain enters its fourth season in 2013. In 2010, Aston Martin Racing launched a new one-make series, the Aston Martin GT4 Challenge of Great Britain. In the first season, the Challenge comprised six events including classic race circuits such as Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Donington with the highlight an opportunity to race at arguably the greatest race circuit of them all, Spa Francorchamps. The inaugural challenge in 2010 was won by the father and son team of Chris and Ant Scragg, their prize was a test drive in the stunning Aston Martin GT2 car for both drivers. In 2011 the series went down to wire with the winner Karsten Le Blanc being crowned at the last round at Dijon.
The 2012 Challenge starts at Silverstone on 28 April and finishes at Snetterton on 29 September including once against the chance to compete at the fantastic Spa Francorchamps circuit. This one-make series is exclusively for the Aston Martin GT4 and N24 including the new 2011 Vantage GT4. Aston Martin Racing are targeting grids of 15-20 cars for the 2012 season.
The races are between 60 and 180 minutes in length with practice, qualifying and the race all usually in the same day, with a prime early afternoon race start time. The winning driver(s) will get the opportunity to test drive either the Aston Martin GT2 or GT3 car and will be recognised at a post-season awards evening.
We are providing technical support with Aston Martin Racing engineers and parts support at each event, while drivers and their guests can enjoy our VIP hospitality.
The GT4 Challenge is the perfect opportunity for owners of Aston Martin racing cars to compete on a truly level playing field on some of the very best racing circuits with the full support of the factory.
