Company History
Aston Martin car production could never be called high volume, in nearly 70 years the total cars built reached 10,000. It was not until the introduction of the Bloxham built DB7 that capacity increased.
Heritage Operations and its Specialist network has the responsibility of caring for the Parts supply and Technical support of all models produced from the DB4 of 1958 to the Vantage Le Mans of 2000, but excluding DB7.
We have had a long and varied history and some of the many questions we are repeatedly asked are Where did Aston Martin get it's name?
What do the initials DB stand for?
When did Ford take over the ownership of the Company?
