The Monolith, Lake Murten, Switzerland. An island made from 4,000 tonnes of steel and concrete. Thirty-four metres high, an archaic monument in a skin of corroded steel sheets. Approach it and venture into a sea of shifting perceptions: three illusory worlds open up within the cube.
