Silverstone Classic Retro Run
Saturday 25th July 2009
Once again on Saturday 25th July the team at Works Service opened the doors for a full viewing and were delighted to be one of the main start points for the Silverstone Classic Retro Run.
With over 70 classic cars arriving and leaving between 7.00am-10.00am and 150 drivers and guests, the event once again proved to be as popular as ever. Refreshments were made available throughout the bright and sunny morning and many visitors were enthused at seeing the expanded Heritage Workshop.
The final car to leave the Works Service checkpoint was the Company owned DB6, which was driven by John Janes, our Workshop Manager, who was accompanied by his friend Ian Peacock who did the map reading.
We look forward to welcoming back the Silverstone Classic Retro Run again next year.
