Our Strongest Line-Up —

2013 sees Aston Martin return to the Nürburgring 24hr race with its strongest line-up to date; three official entries and a further five customer and partner teams. Four distinct models and twenty-six drivers take to the track as Aston Martin challenges for victory across four race classes. Leading the charge is the V12 Vantage GT3, a car expected to stake a claim for overall race winner. The car will share a garage with two further official Aston Martin entries; the world-leading Hybrid Hydrogen Rapide S - the first hydrogen powered car to compete in a FIA-sanctioned race, led by Aston Martin CEO Dr Ulrich Bez - and a V12 Vantage in close-to-production specification. The appearance of this almost standard car alongside its GT3 sibling in a major international endurance race, truly underlines the racing pedigree of Aston Martin's most sporting road car. A further five customer and partner teams will run a car which is now a Nürburgring fixture, the Aston Martin Vantage GT4, fiercely reliable the Vantage GT4 has been honed for competitive GT racing on the Nordschleife for over eight years.
