The 40.9 square-foot carbon roof is the largest ever fitted to an Aston Martin. It removes over 40 lb of mass from the highest point of DBX, meaning a lowered center of gravity and enhanced dynamic reactions. To enhance already class-leading DBX steering, 23″ magnesium wheels liberate up to 42 lb of unsprung mass and rotational inertia to improve steering feel, linear predictability, and tracking over undulating surfaces. The carbon aero winglets around the DRLs and huge single-piece carbon rear panel save another 15 lb. Combined with an exclusive and optional gloss black honeycomb polycarbonate grille, which removes 7 lb further mass, these elements work together to help further improve weight distribution and handling.
