With a bonded aluminium chassis, stiffer cross-members, undertrays, rear bulkhead and a lateral transmission damper that limit forces generated between the drivetrain and body structure. A cross brace between the front suspension towers, allied to double wishbone suspension at the front and a multi-link setup at the rear ensures remarkable handling precision.
DYNAMIC DRIVING
Vanquish Volante combines a suite of technologies into a single vehicle dynamics management system, tuned especially for supreme control and ultimate comfort, with an extended wheelbase between front axle and A-pillar, 80mm longer than previous generations, for increased high-speed stability.
Our latest advanced Electronic Stability Program (ESP) merges vehicle dynamics controllers and uses predictive technology to reduce intrusive ESP interventions through the four ESP modes of On, Track, Off, and Wet.

Sport+ brings sharper throttle response and a firmer ride, allied to quicker gear changes and a higher engine RPM for the shift points. Select Wet mode for enhancing stability on low grip surfaces.

Vanquish Volante’s exceptional wheel, brakes and tyre technologies provide balanced road feedback, preserve stability and ensure consistent, reassuring stopping power. The 21” forged alloy wheels come in three distinctive designs. Standard carbon ceramic 410mm front and 360mm discs cut unsprung mass by 27 kg and reduce brake fade in temperatures up to 800°C to give maximum confidence under hard braking.
Tailored especially for Vanquish Volante, the Pirelli P Zero (PZ4) Tyres offer exceptional lateral grip and incorporate integrated acoustic foam to provide remarkably low levels of noise and vibration.

FRONT
Compared to its predecessor, Vanquish Volante’s stunning horizontal vaned front grille offers 13% more cooling area. The all-new front bumper with integrated splitter adds a wide, uncompromising stance. Inspired by our Formula 1© car, distinctive Thermo Louvres in the dramatically sloping sculpted bonnet aid the cooling of the ferocious V12 engine. Matrix LED headlights introduce a new light signature with the Aston Martin wordmark etched on the inside.
SIDE
The wheelbase has been extended by 80mm compared to the previous model – adding length between the front axle and the A-pillar to elongate the car for a sleeker side profile and increased high-speed stability. The positioning of the front wheel slides the V12 engine purposefully further back in the chassis to improve weight distribution and overall handling. Flush-fit door handles and frameless door mirrors improve Vanquish’s aerodynamic profile.
REAR
The dramatic and distinctive Kamm Tail reduces drag while the full width customisable Aston Martin Shield accentuates its powerful haunches. A design masterpiece that blends exquisite looks with brutal performance. To help ensure stability at high speeds, the aggressive rear diffuser contains central and outer blades that enhance airflow. While seven unique all-new LED light blades, as first seen on Aston Martin Valkyrie, emphasise the car's width. The stunning, instantly recognisable quad tailpipe layout features either a newly developed stainless steel or optional titanium exhaust system.
