When down the lightweight precision engineered K-fold roof stows seamlessly behind the seats at up to 31 mph. Integrating the beautifully sculpted roof flawlessly into the body of the car.

Ruthless yet refined, Vanquish Volante commands attention with its confident, unmistakable design, muscular body and lightweight carbon fibre body. The all-new wide front bumper with integrated splitter offers an aggressive stance. The sculpted carbon fibre bonnet features distinctive Thermo Louvres, inspired by our Formula 1™ car, to help cool the fearsome V12 engine. The stunning traditional Aston Martin horizontal vaned front grille is 13% larger compared to previous generations for even more efficient engine cooling.

Aerodynamic lines. Elegant curves. The extended wheelbase is 80mm longer between front axle and A-pillar, than the previous generation, which both elongates the front of the car when viewed in side profile and, in addition to styling, helps increase high-speed stability. The front wheel positioning slides the V12 engine purposefully further back in the chassis. 

Vanquish Volante’s rakish profile amplifies its imposing presence and with the roof down offers a lean, low silhouette. A striking look that exemplifies our motorsport heritage. A seamless blend of innovative design cues and classic Aston Martin influences that honour its heritage and symbolise its rich tradition, typified through the V12 emblem adorning the iconic extended side strake. Elegant swan doors, frameless door mirrors and self-presenting door handles present matchless finishing touches.

Aston Martin's recognisable design language is also evident in the sheer size and distinctive oval shape of the stunning quad exhaust tailpipe layout. A clearer, louder and even more engrossing V12 sound character courtesy of its smaller, skimmed muffler, with a reduced overall weight of 10.5kg.

Taken from the acclaimed Vanquish Coupe, Vanquish Volante directs torque across the rear axle through a rear electronic differential. The e-diff transmits power across the rear axle with a locking speed of just 135 milliseconds for superior stability in every driving condition, epic cornering agility and outstanding control.

Extra bracing for added body stiffness. An extra 80mm of length ahead of the A-pillar to give greater stability. The advanced Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is underpinned by Integrated Brake Slip Control (IBC), Integrated Traction Control (ITC), Integrated Vehicle Control (IVC) and Integrated Vehicle Dynamics Estimation (IVE). These combine to form a single integrated vehicle dynamics control system, specifically tuned to ensure comfort, stability, and exceptional control. Our latest advanced Electronic Stability Program (ESP) system builds on the engineering pinnacle of the Vanquish Coupe to integrate cutting-edge control technology into Vanquish Volante. Predictive technology reduces any intrusive ESP interventions, with four ESP modes (On, Track, Off, Wet). Wet mode is linked to drive mode selection for added convenience.

Wet mode offers unrivalled stability, ultimate safety and complete command on the most challenging low-grip surfaces.

The latest intelligent Bilstein DTX™ damper technology is specifically designed to allow the Vanquish Volante to provide a broader range of damper force across the drive modes, enabling the car to handle every bump and slope with ease. Body stiffness enhancements ensure a solid platform for the chassis, with suspension bush stiffness optimised to maintain a balance of comfort and safety. This minimises unwanted road surface feedback while maintaining optimum suspension control and engaging steering feel. Vanquish Volante’s standard carbon ceramic brakes feature 410mm front and 360mm discs, while cutting unsprung mass by 27 kg versus cast iron counterparts, enhancing ride quality and dynamic handling behaviour. The braking system maintains consistent braking performance to high temperatures. Resisting and reducing brake fade up to 800°C to give maximum confidence under hard braking.

Tailored specially for Vanquish Volante, custom-made Pirelli P Zero Tyres ensure optimised performance and comfort in all conditions. Developed with Pirelli to provide exceptional lateral grip with substantial noise and vibration reduction as a result of integrated acoustic foam.
