First Generation

From the very first generation, Vanquish left rivals trailing. Debuting at the 2001 Geneva Motor Show, it was an instant sensation. Designed under the leadership of Ian Callum, the car’s sculpted aluminum body, bonded for strength and precision, combined elegance with engineering innovation. Beneath its evocative lines, a 5.9-liter V12 delivers 460 bhp to the rear wheels and a 0-to-60-mph sprint in just 4.6 seconds. The first Vanquish wasn’t simply a new car; it was a new way of making cars, blending traditional handcraftsmanship with revolutionary techniques. It even made its mark in popular culture, starring in the 2002 Bond film Die Another Day, inspiring a new generation of Aston Martin enthusiasts.

Second Generation

The second-generation Vanquish, produced in Gaydon, pushed boundaries even further. Powered by a 565 HP V12, its carbon-fiber panels, lightweight carbon-ceramic brakes, and blistering performance—0–60 mph in 3.6 seconds—set new standards for a grand tourer. Between coupe and Volante body styles, over 4,200 examples were produced before 2018, each one carrying forward the Vanquish spirit: power, elegance, and uncompromised engineering.

Third Generation

Today’s Vanquish continues the lineage with unmatched authority. The third-generation model, launched in 2024, features a twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 producing 824 HP and 738 lb-ft of torque, the most powerful V12 in Aston Martin’s core sports car range. Every line and curve have been refined under Marek Reichman’s design direction, from its powerful profile to the dramatic Kamm tail. Its bonded aluminum structure, extended and sculpted, provides the perfect platform for power, agility, and elegance. Completing the 0-to-60-mph sprint in just 3.3 seconds, and with a top speed of 214 mph, it continues to command the road.

Across three generations, from Newport Pagnell to Gaydon and into today, Vanquish is the pinnacle for Aston Martin GT car drivers: a union of design brilliance, performance, and emotion. Its story is one of relentless innovation, timeless beauty, and a spirit that refuses to be surpassed.

Three generations. One spirit. Twenty-five years of conquering.
