THE HEART OF VANTAGE
A 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, hand-built in lightweight aluminum, is the beating heart of Vantage S—32 valves. A closed-deck block to boost strength and rigidity. Eradicating unnecessary weight. The Hot “V” configuration creates a compact engine package. Utilizing close-coupled, high-flow, twin-scroll turbos. Topped with zirconium-alloy cylinder heads.
INTENSE PERFORMANCE. GREATER COOLING
The cooling system is engineered to manage the substantial thermal load generated by Vantage S, ensuring sustained peak performance at 671 HP. There are two auxiliary coolers on the center-mounted radiator. A contoured grille has a huge air-intake capacity while the splitter feeds enhanced airflow into large front apertures. These elements combine to provide a 56% increase in cooling aperture area compared to the previous generation Vantage without impacting aerodynamic balance or downforce.

CHASSIS, DYNAMICS AND SUSPENSION
STIFFNESS AND STABILITY
Vantage S introduces a solid-mounted rear subframe to increase structural torsional stiffness. In addition to the targeted bracing, undertrays, and thicker anti-roll bars already in place, this helps to further enhance body control.
PERFORMANCE ARCHITECTURE
The solid-mounted rear subframe, using aluminum mounts in place of the usual rubber bushes, provides Vantage S with a 5% increase in torsional body stiffness and improved stability for a more direct connection with the car. Improvements to the core structural architecture are balanced with more flex in the transmission mount and rear spring aid. The result is increased ride refinement with no sacrifice in dynamic precision.
LAUNCH CONTROL
Harnessing the integrated Launch Control system, Vantage S delivers an optimal blend of power and traction. Less wheel spin. More adrenaline. Sprinting from standstill to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds. Achieved through recalibration of the Launch Control system and improvements in powertrain performance. In combination with modified cam profiles, optimized compression ratio, increased efficiency of combustion, and large twin turbos from the previous generation Vantage help maximize torque output in each gear. Delivering scintillating performance throughout the entire rev range up to a top speed of 202 mph.
UNDERPINNED. UNDER CONTROL
Improved calibration of the Bilstein DTX adaptive damper software enhances control of roll and pitch to maintain strong front-end confidence and low-speed agility. The wide bandwidth offers an immense range of control and sharpness of response. Reduced stiffness in the rear suspension aids rebalance compression and rebound for improved further low-speed refinement. Developed with bespoke damper software to enhance comfort without sacrificing agility or driver feedback. Adaptive damping dials in sharper body control and dynamic performance feel across all drive modes.
BRIMMING WITH BALANCE
Classically configured. Meticulously poised. With a front mid-engine layout and rear-wheel drive, Vantage S delivers an ideal 50:50 weight distribution. Unique in its class. More than three-quarters of the vehicle’s mass is balanced between the axles. Sharpening Vantage S performance with a lower center of gravity, just 19 in. off the ground. Further improving aerodynamics, cornering ability and stability at high speeds.
BRAKES
POWER BRAKING
Available with Carbon Ceramic Brakes (CCBs), a further 60 lb of unsprung mass can be reduced. Vantage S brake discs are 16 in. at the front, 14 in. at the rear. Grooved and drilled for superior thermal management. Increasing braking efficiency and reducing brake fade at temperatures nearing 1,472 degrees Fahrenheit. Boosting driver confidence for later braking. Empowering the driver to push the limits further. Painted brake calipers, fitted in Black, Red, or Aston Martin Green as standard, offer a striking accent of color and an evocative signal of performance.
AERODYNAMICS
SCULPTED FOR STYLE. AND SPEED
The assertive aerodynamic design character leaves no doubt as to the performance intent of Vantage S. Centrally mounted hood blades support engine cooling. Directing airflow out of the engine bay and along the car to manage hot air away from the engine.
At the rear, a full-width decklid spoiler also increases its dominant road presence. Providing greater balance by increasing downforce at the rear of the vehicle by 97 lb at Vmax. Downforce is front biased, allowing improved turn-in and enhanced cornering grip.

BLADES WITH EDGE
Centrally mounted optional carbon blades optimize hot-air extraction by channeling air away from the engine bay and Hot “V”–configured 4.0-liter V8 to dramatically aid cooling. Hood blades are matched to the Upper Body Package, including matching mirror caps, side strake, and exhaust tail pipes. It can be specified in 2x2 Twill Carbon Fiber or Gloss Black as standard, bestowing dark brooding looks.
REAR
THE REAR EDGE OF STABILITY
Formidable from nose to tail, the rear of Vantage S is adorned with a full-width lightweight carbon spoiler delivering aerodynamic balance at high speeds by increasing rear downforce by 97 lb at Vmax. A rear diffuser and quad exhaust tailpipes sign off, as memorable for their visual impact as for their iconic stainless-steel roar.

Vantage S introduces a heated sports steering wheel trimmed in Alcantara®, a lightweight material chosen for its performance feel and used throughout the cabin, from the headliner to the seats and center console. Finished in muted black with integrated heating and hands-on detection, it is also available with matching chrome accents to suit driver preference.

CARBON SPORTS SEATS
The performance seat’s low hip point connects the driver more closely to the car, offering a new sightline and greater precision behind the wheel. Every Vantage S interior includes embroidered S logos on the upper shoulder panels, with nearly 2,500 stitches and over 16 meters of thread. A clear statement of the car’s dedication to both luxury and performance.
A first in the automotive industry, Vantage S also offers optional ‘sculpted headrests’. Aston Martin wings are sculpted into both leather headrests using unique 3D embossing and debossing techniques formed with intense heat and extreme pressure of 1,500kg. Crafted with sub-millimeter precision to beautifully showcase Aston Martin’s artisan skills.
ROTARY DIAL AND CENTER CONSOLE
A COMMANDING POSITION
Vantage S is available with the optional S Interior Highlight Package. Beneath the perfectly placed floating center console sits the rotary dial. It is machined from billet aluminum and anodized red, with tactile haptics to access the five drive modes – all at fingertip control. Drivers specify the Red finish which matches other highlighted features including contrast stitching, contrast welt, seatbelt and headrest embroidery.
