Like the Coupe before it, the Roadster marks the most emphatic leap in power – and most elevated jump in emotion – in over 70 years of the Vantage bloodline. At its heart, a boldly reworked, hand-built 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. Meticulously engineered. Producing a peak of 670HP and a colossal 800Nm of torque. A driving experience, heightened.

The fastest Roadster in the nameplate’s history. From the silence of standstill to 62mph in 3.6 seconds. Modified cam profiles, carefully optimized compression ratio and larger twin turbos produce staggering performance throughout the entire rev range. Ascending to a top speed breaching 200mph.

Under the contoured bonnet crouches the V8. Cast in pure aluminum. 32 valves with a closed-deck block that multiplies strength and rigidity. Eviscerating unnecessary weight. Hot ‘V’ configuration provides a compact engine package utilizing close-coupled, high-flow, twin-scroll turbos. Crowned with zirconium alloy cylinder heads. Surging with power. Spinning to a spine-tingling 7,000rpm.

Roadster’s soaring uplift in power and torque also increases thermal load, demanding a comprehensive cooling system to match. Tripling the number of radiators and adding two auxiliary coolers on the centre-mounted radiator. A 56% increase in thermal apertures. Air is fed in through the larger air-gulping recontoured grille. A splitter feeding enhanced airflow into more capacious front apertures. Without impacting on aerodynamic balance or downforce.

A distinctive V8 soundtrack to be recognized and relished with the roof down. From the sonorous howl under acceleration to the smooth rumble when cruising. A powerful pitch, altered by an index finger, touching a machined-metal rotary dial to select a choice of five different drive modes and exhaust settings from an all-new center console. Let the quad-exhaust sound character kick in. Distinct. Raw. Full-bodied.

Unforgettable performance. Arrowing through corners at pulse-quickening speeds. Next-generation torque shaping working with the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system. Intelligently tailoring traction. Pinpointing grip more precisely. Weaving power through an automatic ZF 8-speed transmission. Delivering explosive in-gear acceleration through a shorter final drive ratio (3.083:1).

Operating in total unison with the latest generation ESC system, the Electronic Rear Differential (E-diff) adapts its behavior according to the approaching demands of the road – from the challenges of a relentless switchback alpine road to the cosseted curves of a country road. Helping the Roadster to rotate into tighter turns and exploit its razor-sharp yet composed front-end response. Inspiring confidence through high-speed bends where stability is crucial.

Vantage Roadster boasts a non-isolated steering column. Delivering an unmediated, unfiltered line between the tarmac, the tires, the chassis and the steering wheel. Allowing a more direct exchange of information between steering input, vehicle response and the purer sense of the road surface. Without the slightest interference.

The new Stability Control System underwrites your drive with a sixth sense of composure. Employing a state-of-the-art 6D Inertial Measurement Unit. Assessing every move you make by intuitively monitoring Surge, Heave, Sway, Roll, Pitch and Yaw. Allowing perfectly gauged ESP intervention and optimized performance. Unimpeded.

Vantage Roadster is graced with the latest evolution of Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Adjustable Traction Control (ATC) systems. Effectively managing torque to optimize wheel slip. The new Vantage Roadster sees increased stiffness through weight-optimized structural shear panels. Enhanced rear stiffness compared to the coupe allows chassis-mounted components like DTX dampers to perform at their optimum. Combined with larger anti-roll bars to maximize body control. Syncing the driver with the experience. Creating an intensely responsive drive. Every sensation felt more fully. From the road below. To the sky above.

Whether roof up or top down, Roadster’s next-generation Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers outwit any inconsistencies in the tarmac. A 500% increase in bandwidth offers an immense range of control and speed of response. Precise calibration of the dampers gives a razor-sharp edge to Roadster dynamics for an inherently sporting feel. Allowing the driver to opt for progressively tighter body control as they explore the comprehensive range of dynamic modes. From the visual splendor of gliding along countryside roads to the visceral thrill of challenging hairpin mountain bends. All at the twist of a dial.

Near-perfect 49:51 weight distribution. Classically configured and meticulously poised with a front mid-engine and rear-wheel drive. Unique in its class. More than three-quarters of the Roadster’s mass is perfectly balanced between the two axles. Giving it the perfect balance to exploit the limit.

Precision-engineered steel brakes offer superlative stopping power as standard. Or specify Carbon Ceramic Brakes to reduce unsprung mass by 27kg. 400mm at the front end, 360mm at the rear end. Defiantly increasing braking efficiency and reducing brake fade at temperatures up to 800 degrees thanks to drilled faces providing superior heat rejection. Michelin Sport S 5 tires. A proprietary blend specially made for the Vantage bloodline. Honed by Aston Martin and molded by Michelin. Featuring a bespoke compound made to react with precision and to maximize high-grip levels on tarmac in any weather or road conditions. Super-sharp responses. The Roadster’s Z-fold roof system transforms the look of your car. An open-air driver’s nirvana. Lightweight. Compact. Designed to fold down to a mere 210mm stack height, giving a seamless, sleek rear profile, while also maximizing luggage capacity. Form and function, as ever, as one. The roof opens or closes in just 6.8 seconds – a class-leading speed. Operational up to a speed of 31 mph. At the touch of a button.

Even with the top down, the increased track width gives Vantage Roadster an intensified road presence, whether static or at speed. The new front-end hosts a vaned, recontoured grille helping to drive a 50% greater cooling capacity. A final touch comes in the form of a new optimized front splitter. Tuned to enhance airflow into larger front apertures without compromising aero balance and downforce.

The side of the Vantage Roadster sees the return of the iconic Aston Martin side strake. For a touch of dynamism even while standing at ease. The flank is finished by new side sills, frameless door mirrors and presenting door handles. Roadster’s Z-fold roof folds seamlessly into its sleek silhouette.

More formidable, from nose to tail. Vantage Roadster is finished with a broad rear end. To cut lift, wheel-arch vents bleed-off air and the rear diffuser keeps the car grounded by managing and optimizing airflow to create low pressure under the car. The quad-exhaust tailpipes sign off emphatically, as memorable for their visual power as for their stainless-steel roar.

The structure of the enlarged 21-inch hand-forged alloy wheels was designed using simulation tools to remove every gram of excess mass without compromising strength or aesthetics. A bespoke blend of tires also helps minimize weight and maximize durability, with improved breakaway characteristics for increased traction and more grip.

The Roadster shines with LED headlights and a new daytime running light (DRL) signature. Intelligently imagined by AI and cut in a 6-block pattern to give a distinct character and stop refraction of light from the LED beam in its tracks. Standing intricately detailed and engraved with the Aston Martin word mark. To leave your signature on the night.

The heart of your Roadster is the core of your open-top driving experience. Clean, unbroken lines. Stylish, slender air vents. A striking yet elegant environment. Under a stunning yet evolving skyline. Fixed around the center console and beginning with an engaging push of the starter button. The tactile haptics of a metal rotary dial let you explore and savor five different drive modes. More detailed commands can be actioned by the touch of a screen.

Beneath the Roadster’s Z-fold roof awaits a cockpit design that is reworked, redesigned and revolutionary. Building out the interiors with more horizontal surfaces. Mirroring horizon lines. Syncing the driver with the environment. Cocooned within traditional, hand-stitched Scottish Leather Group leather. With the lower hip point dropping the driver into a deeper sportier position. Within easy reach of the metallized switch for roof opening and closing, which nestles at the base of the center console. Each addition freeing you to drive with more precision.

A driver-centric dashboard, delivering a sense of space and clarity. Exquisitely appointed around 10.25-inch Pure Black touchscreen technology. 1970 x 720 pixels. Activated by capacitive touch control. Intuitively pinching and swiping your way through the most used controls. A clearly defined array of physical switches beneath the screen offers a triumph of functional beauty and tactile quality.

The Roadster comes with the option of the Halo system developed with Aston Martin’s audio partner, Bowers & Wilkins. Wrapping every corner with the 15-speaker, double amplified 1,170W surround sound system. Paired with dedicated 3D headline speakers and a powerful subwoofer. Bending sound to the will of your interior and leaving you as plugged into your favorite music, as you are to the road. The Z-fold roof canopy has been acoustically enhanced with eight layers of insulation materials to ensure your in-cabin sound enjoyment is undisturbed.
