Engineered by Aston Martin, the upgraded 4.0-Liter Twin-Turbo V8 now produces 717 HP making it the most powerful SUV in the world using only an internal combustion engine. The exhaust has been specially tailored to the new turbochargers, reducing back pressure and giving even more voice to the thunderous V8. Combined with lightweight options that produce the greatest power-to-weight ratio in the category, it firmly establishes DBX S at the apex of ultra-luxury SUV power and performance. 

This all-conquering power is delivered via new turbos, expertly taken from the technology of the forthcoming mid-engine Valhalla supercar. By harnessing turbo components such as larger compressor wheels, the “Hot-V” mounted twin turbos of DBX S deliver a further 20 bhp totaling a segment-defining 717 bhp. The extra urgency is delivered when revs reach in excess of 6,000 rpm courtesy of turbos that now spin faster than on any other Aston Martin, hitting a massive 160,000 rpm. A higher and wider torque band delivers a thunderous surge of acceleration for longer. Taking DBX S from 0 to 124 mph in 11.4 seconds.
