Mastery of Driving

Mastery in every milligram of motion

One of a never-before kind. Our first V8, mid-engine, hybrid supercar. On its journey from concept to road-ready production reality. Returning intensity to the driver’s seat. Driver and machine in a relationship of explosive potential. Forged through uninterrupted connection. A new era of driving involvement. Flooding perfection through every pore, part and particle. We’d like to introduce you to Valhalla.

At the top of its class and every other

The ultimate balance of elite performance. Rewriting what best-in-class means for dynamics and driving pleasure. Evolving from the edge-of-the-impossible technology and development of the Aston Martin Valkyrie. Valhalla combines a carbon-fibre structure with uniquely sophisticated materials and design.

Electrifying progress, propelled from the pit lane

Valhalla incorporates what we’ve learned through our involvement in Formula One®, while simultaneously accelerating the transmission from internal combustion, to hybrid, to full electric powertrain. Confounding even our own expectations, Valhalla is our first plug-in hybrid, that delivers 1,012PS.

Limits eviscerated, numbers contained

As is right for a car of such rare qualities, we’re only making 999. Not one more. Not one less.

Engineering

A powertrain to power the next generation

The soul of Valhalla is its all-new PHEV three-motor powertrain. The most dominant is a rear-mid-mounted 4.0 litre twin-turbo bespoke V8 engine. It is also the most advanced, responsive and highest-performing V8 engine ever fitted to an Aston Martin, with a flat-plane crankshaft for increased responsiveness. Revving to 7,200rpm and developing 812PS, it sends drive exclusively to the rear axle. Exhalation happens through a lightweight exhaust system with active flaps for an adjustable and authentic Aston Martin soundtrack.

Not one but three motors

The power of the new V8 engine is intensified by a 150kW/400V battery hybrid system using a pair of e-motor. One is mounted on the front axle and the other on the rear. Together they contribute a further 200PS for a revolutionary combined power output of 1,012PS.

E-reversing into the future

Completing the powertrain is an all-new 8-speed DCT transition. Exclusively created for Aston Martin, this new paddle-shift gearbox has specifically been designed for the hybrid era. It features e-reverse, which utilises the PHEV's electric motors and saves weight without the need for a conventional reverse gear. The transmission has an Electronic Limited Slip Differential (E-Diff) on the rear axle for maximum traction and handling agility.

Talking the torque up to 1000Nm

Electrical power is also used to enhance low-speed control, response and reversing capability. The hybrid system gives the V8 engine sensational standing-start acceleration and in-gear responsiveness, thanks to the immediate torque delivery it enables. The rear e-motor and V8 combustion engine can simultaneously run different gears in the DCT, boosting performance with an epic torque delivery of 1,000Nm.

Nought to 80 in zero

Running in EV-only mode, Valhalla is capable of 80mph, with a zero emission range of 15km. Predicted CO2 (WLTP) is less than 200g/km. Unleashing 1,012PS of its mighty engine power, Valhalla can reach a top speed of 217mph and complete a 0-62mph sprint in just 2.5 seconds.

A masterful body of work

Poetry in ferocious motion

Valhalla is built around a bespoke carbon fibre monocoque for maximum stiffness with minimum weight penalty. For unparalleled driving dynamics, it features Formula One® style push rod front suspension, complete with inboard springs and dampers, reducing unsprung mass and providing an efficient packaging solution. The adaptive dampers provide exceptional performance on road and on track.

Suspension loadings can be controlled with absolute precision, thanks to the carbon monocoque's inherent rigidity. Allowing for unrivalled responsiveness of the electric power-assisted steering translating into immediate and intuitive direction changes.

Heart-stopping stopping

High-performance carbon-ceramic matrix brakes, complete with brake-by-wire technology, bring exceptional stopping power. Made even more exceptional by Valhalla’s specially developed Michelin tyres.

Exterior

A masterpiece in every masterstroke

Valhalla's design is a work of art, combining extreme performance with beautiful proportion and capturing a bold, futuristic look for the first car of its kind. Without the need for wings to increase downforce, Valhalla's smooth body blends function and beauty in a style that's perfectly suited to a new generation of mid-engine supercars.

Carbon-fibre body

The elegantly sculpted body panels are predominantly made from carbon fibre, allowing for design flexibility with minimal weight. The bodywork around the front and rear wheel arches has been visually shrink-wrapped, emphasising Valhalla’s muscular stance, and guiding airflow around the cabin towards the active rear wing.

Floating inches above the earth

The side surfaces feature elegant sculpting with a strong, accentuated shoulder line that acts as an integrated side strake where it connects with the front fender panel. The cabin glasshouse is broad and sinks deep into the car, flowing out to meet the surrounding bodywork and enhancing the perception of Valhalla’s low and wide stance.

Lightweight Wheels

The staggered wheel sizes, 20-inch at the front and 21-inch at the rear, give Valhalla a slight aerodynamic rake with the rear higher than the front. The lightweight wheels showcase a design combining a 6-spoke with a honey-comb style backing.

Sculpted Diffuser

The lower rear of the Valhalla is dominated by the enormous, sculpted carbon fibre diffuser and integrated ducts. These generate substantial amounts of downforce to keep the car planted to the road, while the extreme design also offers a clear view through to the wide rear tyres.

Interior

Driver centred and driver centric

The driving position is inspired by that of a Formula One® car, with the driver sitting close to the car’s centre line and a low hip-to-heel seating position. The cockpit is larger than that of the Aston Martin Valkyrie, but many Formula One® inspired hallmarks remain, such as a pared back ergonomic internal design that is unashamedly focused around the driver, creating the ultimate driving experience.

Remote Control

Valhalla features a wide range of modern technologies and the latest Advanced Driver Assistance Systems including a full LED Matrix headlights with adaptive functionality and highbeam assist, plus Auto Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Active Cruise Control, and Rear-View Parking Cameras.
