DB12 S features the next generation of corner braking control, which is integrated within the Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) system. Leveraging a 6-dimensional accelerometer and advanced brake slip control, the system predicts and manages load transfer through every corner. Giving a stronger turn-in and greater mid-corner agility to deliver the dynamic feel of a shorter wheelbase with the added ride refinement and stability of a grand tourer. Torque vectoring across the rear axle also delivers sharper, more precise cornering behaviour. Optimising balance, control and confidence.

The Electronic Differential (E-Diff) works in harmony with the Electronic Slip Control (ESC) system to maximise traction and further enhance the car’s agility. DB12 S is specifically tuned for a sharper response, allowing earlier application of power when exiting corners. Combined with the reduction in unsprung mass from the Carbon Ceramic Brakes, it provides more exact feedback and a racing feel. Enabling the driver to push harder, with instantaneous bite, complete control, and greater confidence.

An all-new fixed carbon rear spoiler enables more consistent rear-end stability. Unlike deployable systems, this fixed aero element increases downforce consistently across a broader range of speeds. Improving balance and grip without compromise. Visually assertive. Aerodynamically effective.

The 8-speed automatic gearbox is recalibrated for a new level of intensity, with shift times cut by 43% to just 120 milliseconds. This heightened immediacy delivers a more urgent and visceral driving experience with every gear change.

A new, muscular, exhaust note enhances the presence of DB12 S. Driven by an all-new stainless-steel quad tailpipe system with active valve control. Tuned to enhance bass frequencies, it brings a greater depth and power to the Aston Martin V8 signature sound. For those seeking the pinnacle of visceral engagement, there is an optional titanium system. This reduces mass by 11.7kg and elevates sound output by a further 1.5 dB. Delivering both weight savings and an even more sonorous howl.

From the base of the seat to the tip of the pedals, every touch delivers immediate, unfiltered feedback. With a firmer accelerator pedal feel unique to the S model, engineered to deliver sharper responses and greater feedback. Carefully calibrated to provide consistent modulation across the full range of pedal travel. Every movement feels measured. Every response, exact.

DB12 S offers sharper driving characteristics without compromising on comfort. A thicker rear anti-roll bar increases stiffness by 7%, reducing body roll and improving agility. Calibration changes to the DTX dampers have broadened out their range of capabilities, not only sharpening responses, but also adding ride refinement.

 

Bespoke camber, toe and caster settings for DB12 S further aid stability and response, in addition to the standard fitting of Carbon Ceramic Brakes, which removes an impressive 27kg in unsprung mass. Software revisions to the steering deliver more weight and feel, maximising the sense of connection to the road.

 

Meanwhile, changes to the Electronic Differential (E-Diff) calibration allows faster acceleration out of corners, and further improves agility, blending sports car precision and front-end bite with the refinement and agility of a grand tourer.

Carbon Ceramic Brakes (CCB) are fitted as standard on the new DB12 S. Delivering a linear, unwavering response that handles extreme conditions with expert control. Withstanding temperatures approaching 800°C, the CCB system offers confidence under hard braking, allowing the driver to remain focused on the road ahead.

Exclusive to DB12 S, the new 21” Evolution wheel is sculpted for performance without compromise. Engineered to precisely balance load distribution, reducing stress concentrations and ensuring uncompromising durability under the most extreme performance conditions.

Exclusive to DB12 S, a fixed carbon spoiler blade enhances the aerodynamic profile at the rear with a purposeful, assertive lip. Below this, a rear diffuser reduces lift to further support high-speed stability while visually extending the bodywork. Making the car appear lower to the ground, while elevating its presence. Optional painted fog-light housings add further brooding power. Making the DB12 S as commanding from behind as it appears from the front.

The rear bumper of DB12 S is reshaped with greater muscularity, amplifying its stance. Integrating seamlessly with the new quad exhaust system, creating a more intense and purposeful rear profile. The quad outlets stacked in pairs with an inboard offset, are a defining mark of the S character. Sculpted surrounds and oval tips retain the refinement expected of the DB lineage.

A lower, wider, more powerful stance is defined by an exclusive new F1®-inspired dual-aspect front splitter, finished in carbon fibre and aerodynamically honed for downforce and high-speed stability. Above, the iconic Aston Martin grille projects an assertive expression, while deep-cut channels sculpt the bodywork, channelling air with brutal efficiency. A more dominant presence from every angle.

The introduction of optional carbon louvres to the centrally mounted bonnet vents does more than simply add an assertive edge to the car's looks, enhancing cooling by extracting heat directly from the engine bay. Managing airflow around the vehicle rather than letting turbulence disturb the flow over the top of the DB12 S. Visually stunning, they signal increased performance and are available in Gloss Black or 2x2 Twill Carbon Fibre.

The DB12 S lighting signature is instantly recognisable. A distinct 6-block Daytime Running Light (DRL) design sharpens the front profile. With precision-cut pyramid and knurled surface detailing that adds depth and character. More than illumination, it is a visual identity that proclaims performance.

The side profile of DB12 S is sharpened by unique Gloss Black sills that visually lower the car’s stance. Signature ‘S’ badging sits discreetly on each fender. Chrome-plated, brass-forged and filled with red glass enamel. Available in bright or dark chrome to match the exterior trim, a mark of its high-performance bloodline. Handcrafted by Vaughtons, time-honoured British manufacturers of the bespoke Aston Martin wings. Completing the look, an inscription of the Aston Martin wordmark features on the iconic side strake.

The connection to the road begins with a wheel unique to the DB12 S. The 21-inch Evolution wheel is offered in four finishes, including the intricate Satin Black Diamond Turned and the fluid-like Liquid Titanium. Three further 21-inch designs provide alternative expressions of intent. Every option is fitted with the Michelin Pilot Sport S5 tyre, its compound bespoke to Aston Martin, engineered in partnership to translate every command into unflinching performance.

Engineered for driver focus, the DB12 S interior builds on that of the Super Tourer with a unique suite of additional S features. Optional red anodised aluminium drive mode rotary, red seat belts and contrast stitching define the S identity, whilst S treadplates mark the threshold. Lightweight Alcantara® trim and optional chevron quilting add sporting intensity. A new carbon fibre surround on the Driver Instrument Cluster completes the performance-orientated environment.

 

The Sports Plus seats with 3D sculpted headrests and S embroidery combine dynamic support with meticulous fit. With the additional option of carbon fibre performance seats, for the ultimate lightweighting and sporting feel. Further enhanced by the refined hip-to-heel ratio in the cabin, perfectly positioning the driver’s ankle and foot for minimal movement required. Allowing for faster and more precise pedal work.
